KC police investigate city's 94th homicide

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One woman is in custody following an early morning shooting that left one person dead.

Kansas City Police responded to a call at a home in the 1800 block of E. 68th Street around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. There they found the male victim dead of gunshot wound.

Parents identify their son, 24-year-old Paul Williams Junior, as the victim.

Police are not releasing any information on the suspect at this time.

According to Chief Darryl Forte's Twitter , this is the city's 94th homicide this year.
