Police still looking for man involved in chase

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Police on both sides of the state line are searching for a man who lead officers on a high-speed chase after he repeatedly rammed his car into a car that had a woman inside.

Kansas Highway Patrol said it started in Kansas City, Kan. A patrolman happened to be in the area and witnessed the ramming. When he intervened, the suspect took off, according to KHP.

Police said he jumped on l-70 and at times was going more than 100 mph. The suspect crossed into Missouri, and the Kansas City, Mo., police joined the pursuit. At some point during the chase, police lost track of the green Buick. They got a tip from a witness who said the suspect may have switched into a beige crossover.

They pulled over a vehicle thinking they has had the suspect, but that person had nothing to do with the chase.

They continue to search for either the green Buick or the beige crossover.
