Locals are running to help raise funds for typhoon relief in the Philippines.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - More than a week after typhoon Haiyan tore through the Philippines, relief is finally starting to make its way to those in need.
Here in Kansas City, runners came together on Sunday in an effort to help raise funds for the victims of that deadly storm. The run was held in Loose Park from 8 a.m. to about 9 a.m.
More than 3,600 people have died, with more than 600,000 people left homeless.
