A man is arrested in connection to a 2016 burglary at an elementary school.
David Wicker has been charged with breaking into Maplewood Elementary and stealing $6 thousand in laptops and other items in August 2016.
According to the probable cause statement, Wicker was arrested in Shelby County, Iowa in September 2016 with stolen laptops from a school burglary in Plattsburg, Missouri.
Wicker matched the description in surveillance video from Maplewood Elementary, so local police were notified.
Shelby County police obtained a search warrant for Wicker’s DNA. The DNA matched blood found on a Maplewood Elementary vending machine.
