KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A man was transported to Truman Medical Center after suffering a severe laceration to his head just before 7:30 p.m. Friday in Kansas City, Mo.
The man worked at the Century Towers building. He was found in the loading dock area and EMTs worked quickly but could not save the man. He died at the hospital shortly after arriving.
The cause of death is unknown.
Police are investigating the death as a homicide until they know more, but a police spokesperson said it might have also been an accident.
Police interviewed witnesses who appeared to be younger folks from the building. Officers also took surveillance video from the building's cameras.
