UPDATE 7:30 p.m. | Police say Hallowell has been located safe and is back with family.
EARLIER | A 73-year-old Grandview woman hasn't been seen since she left her home in the 3700 block of Blue Ridge Boulevard Wednesday afternoon.
Police said Rita Hallowell just walked off and didn't give any indication of where she was going. The family says she suffers from Alzheimer's and dementia. The department issued a Silver Alert just before 6 p.m. Wednesday.
She was last seen wearing a red dress and red cowboy footwear.
