Here's an exhibit that might make you think.

An all-new brain exhibit featuring real human brains opens Saturday at the Museum at Prairiefire in Overland Park. The exhibition, which was designed by the American Museum of Natural History, also features local exhibits added by St. Luke's Neuroscience Institute.

"St. Luke's has given us content that is relevant today, cutting edge technology, and that's embedded throughout the actual exhibition," said Donna Deeds, president of the Museum at Prairiefire.

Visitors can explore the equipment used to combat the symptoms of Parkinson's Disease and see a human brain ravaged by Alzheimer's Disease.

"More importantly for people who come to this exhibit is to understand how the brain works to some degree so they can recognize their problem and address them in a timely manner," said Dr. Stanley Fisher, a neurologist at St. Luke's.

Other parts of the exhibit will even test your brain.

"Your hands will be busy, your mind will be busy, and then there will also be things where you think, 'I need to come back and see that again,'" said Deeds.

The brain exhibit opens Saturday and runs through the end of August.

Tickets range from $8 to $14. For more information, click here.
