OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - An Overland Park officer and another person have been struck along westbound I-435 at Metcalf.
The two were injured, but their injuries are not said to be life-threatening. Both were taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
The officer was working a previous crash Friday night when they were struck by another car, according to a news release from the Overland Park Police Department.
Kansas Highway Patrol has shut down everything but the far right shoulder as they investigate.
