UPDATE: Victim identified in deadly crash on I-70

UPDATE - The Missouri Highway Patrol has released more information in a fatal wreck on I-70 near Little Blue Parkway Sunday just before 3:30 p.m.. 

According to the crash report, Adrienne L. Afrisio, 35, of Blue Springs, was standing alongside the road as her vehicle was being loaded onto a tow truck.

A Honda driving eastbound on I-70 left the roadway and hit the rear of the vehicle being loaded onto the tow truck. The Honda then hit Afrisio and the tow truck driver.

Afrisio was pronounced dead at the scene. The tow truck driver, along with an adult and teenager inside the Honda were transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. 

Eastbound I-70 was closed for several hours as the crash was investigated. It re-opened around 6 p.m.
