OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - The official start of winter is just around the corner, but we've already seen our fair-share of weather winter conditions throughout Kansas City.
On Thursday, the National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm watch for the metro, with expectations of hazardous driving conditions Friday morning.
Crews across the metro were prepared and were able to get out and treat the roads and highways before the morning commute.
41 Action News reporter Andres Gutierrez was live in Overland Park, Kan., where city crews house the salt.
