Ready to channel your inner Van Gogh? Or discover your hidden Monet?

How about painting a few little happy trees like good old Bob Ross?

You can do all of that and help children at the same time.

It’s called Painting It Forward and it will take place at Pinot’s Palette, just off 119th in Olathe, the evening of September 28.

Owner Barb Newman says she hopes to fill all the seats with $20 of the $40 price going to St. Jude’s.

St. Jude’s in Memphis helps children from all over the country including Kansas City, directly, through research and finding new ways to fight children’s cancer.

It is the perfect combination: a little wine, a few brush strokes and a whole lot of good being done for kids.

That sounds like a true masterpiece, regardless of the finished painted product.
