KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A two-vehicle accident has claimed the life of a pedestrian in Kansas City, Mo.
The accident happened just after 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Kansas City police say a teenage girl was driving a red Chevy Impala the wrong way when it hit a silver Hyundai.
During the process of the accident, a 42-year-old man, Lonzell Davis, who was walking in the area was killed.
Along with the pedestrian who passed away, four others were injured. The teen in the Chevy has been hospitalized.
Three individuals who were in the Hyundai were also hurt. Their injuries are considered "minor," according to police.
Police have shut down 34th Street and Prospect while they investigate the scene.
