Two school buses involved in Kansas City crashes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -  School buses were involved in two separate minor crashes Monday morning in Kansas City, authorities said.

The first happened at about 8:55 a.m. near 31st and Myrtle, where a pedestrian was struck by one of the buses.

The pedestrian sustained minor injuries. No children were on board the bus when the accident happened, police said.

Nobody else was injured.

A second crash happened a few minutes later, just after 9 a.m., at 92nd Place and 93rd Street, according to police.

Students were on board the bus, but nobody was injured. The car collided with a car.
