Police ask for public's help in finding missing Overland Park man

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Police are asking the public's help in finding a missing man in Overland Park. 

Abraham D. Hermes, 20, was last seen leaving his home near 18500 Quivira Rd. around 4:30 p.m. Thursday. 

A cell phone ping of Hermes' phone showed a possible location near the Cedar Creek residential subdivision southwest of the intersection of K10 and K7 in Olathe, Kansas. 

Police say Hermes is driving a white Ford Explorer with a Kansas tag of 530 ESM. 

Hermes is described as 6'3", 190 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. 

Anyone with information on the Hermes' whereabouts is asked to call the Overland Park Police Department at 913-895-6300 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
