INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - Independence police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man apparently suffering from amnesia who has been in a local hospital since Friday, September 27.
Officers responded to a call of a man needing medical attention near Little Blue Parkway and I-70 and found the unidentified man. He was transported to a local hospital.
The man indicated that his name is Christian Frye and he thinks he may have some connection to the state of Washington. He appears to have very little memory about his past so authorities are trying to help identify him before he is released and help put him in contact with his relatives.
If you or anyone you know can help identify this man, or if you have had any contact with this man, please call the Independence Police Department at (816)836-3600 or the TIPS Hotline at (816)474-8477.
