KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A child found wandering the streets of Midtown on Friday morning is safe.
Kansas City police sent out information just before 9 a.m. of the 2-year-old child being found near the intersection of 38th Street and Wyandotte.
Family members of the child arrived on the scene shortly thereafter, and police sent a tweet at 9:29 a.m. stating the child's parents had been located.

Police said the boy was spending the night with relatives when he unlocked the door and left the house.
While waiting to be reunited with his family, police brought food for the child, who was seen smiling while eating.
