KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police say a standoff between an armed man has come to an end.
Officers were called to a disturbance call near 23rd and Lawndale Ave., in Kansas City, Mo., around 11:40 a.m. Sunday.
When they arrived, they found a male in a wooded area. Neighbors told police he was firing a weapon.
At that point, the male ran back into the house. Officers overheard gunfire inside the home.
Chief Darryl Forte tweeted just before 6 p.m. that the standoff was over.
No other details were immediately available.
