Both events will be televised on your NBC Station.
It's elimination day at the NASCAR Hollywood Casino 400.
Along with Chase Elliott and Aric Almirola, the winner of today's race and the next five drivers in the points standings will join in the Round of eight.
Nascar America Sunday begins at 12:30 p.m., followed by Countdown to Green Car at 1:00 p.m. followed by racing at 1:30 p.m.
Then all the action moves across town to Kansas City, Missouri, as the 5-1 Chiefs take on the Cincinnati Bengals just after 7 p.m.
41 Action News at 5:00 p.m. will include special coverage on the big sports day in the city, with info. and stories on the car racing, and Chiefs game.
Football Night in America begins at 6 p.m., followed by the game at 7:00 p.m.
