KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Authorities are investigating a report of a partial roof collapse at Aspen Products, 4231 Clary Blvd., in Kansas City, Mo.
Police said there was no one in the area of the collapse. It happened in the center of the building. Fire Chief James Garrett said the owners did not want fire crews inside, and they needed police assistance to get into the building.
Fire crews evacuated the building, then made sure no one was hurt or trapped.
The building will be released to the city's dangerous buildings department and OSHA.
