You’ve heard of Fiddler on the Roof? How about Fiddler Under The Sea?

Sea Life Kansas City Aquarium has four new residents:  Fiddler Rays!

After hanging out in the quarantine room for the last few weeks, they are “o-fish-ally” becoming part of the underwater extravaganza in the Harbor area.

Curator and sea creature whisperer Curt Slocum says the new additions, which are found off the coast of Southern Australia, are close relatives of the Bowmouth Guitarfish.

Guitar?  Fiddle?  This is a soggy string section.

They started their big debut day with some breakfast shrimp and will be slowly acclimated to the new watery home starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

There are photographs of the individual rays on the outside of their tank with their special markings noted.

At the moment they each are assigned a number, but names are sure to follow.

As of now, let’s just call them The Boy Band of Sea Life. They certainly have the moves.
