In the heart of downtown Overland Park, there's something new frying up.
Doughnut Lounge plans to open shop at 7926 Santa Fe Dr. with its signature and classic creations in early 2018.
Located right across from the Farmers' Market pavilion, Doughnut Lounge said its Overland Park location will feature everything you can experience at its Westport Location.
This news comes just a few weeks after Doughnut Lounge Owner Jake Randall announced a second location would be opening in North Kansas City at 1250 Burlington St.
He also announced the addition of a wholesale kitchen to help accommodate large orders for weddings or other events, and a food truck that will serve fresh doughnuts outside the NKC store Monday through Friday, until the location opens its doors in early 2018.
The food truck will also be available on weekends for events and weddings.
