Southwest Airlines worried flights to D.C. will end soon

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City International Airport needs your help keeping the non-stop service to Washington D.C.’s Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Kansas City. Right now, the city is in competition with airports in Jacksonville, Fla., Long Island, NY and Myrtle Beach, SC to make Southwest's non-stop to DCA permanent.

Flight access to DCA is restricted and airlines are required to obtain “slots” or “slot exemptions” in order to serve D.C.’s only “downtown” airport.

Southwest has been operating the service temporarily since February. Click here to sign the online petition to help make our non-stop flight to DCA permanent.
