KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A special reunion was caught on camera between Molly the Husky and her owners.
The pup was stolen from her family a year ago, but for the past seven months was being cared for by a different family—not knowing she belonged to someone else.
When Molly got loose recently, Animal Control picked her up and found out who she really belonged to. Molly’s family couldn’t believe it when they got the call Thursday morning.
“I thought it was a late April Fool’s joke or something, but no. We’re just glad to have her home,” Molly’s original owner Byrida Nelson said.
Molly’s original family and her temporary family plan to stay in touch through Facebook.
