KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Strangers made a trip halfway across the country to reunite a dog with its owner in Kansas City.
Mary Ellen Frazier and her dog Bailey got in a car accident in September; her car flipped five times. Frazier had to be hospitalized.
Someone finally found Bailey more than a week later. Frazier's son then took the dog to Alabama.
Five months later, strangers offered to drive Bailey back to Kansas City to be reunited with her owner.
"I am overwhelmed at the kindness and just selflessness that people would go to so many great lengths to do something for someone they don’t know,” Frazier said.
A total of 10 people took shifts driving bailey 700 miles home.
