Taylor Sheets pleads guilty to vehicular homicide after ATV crash that killed Tyler Rathbun

MIAMI COUNTY, Kan. - Taylor Sheets pleaded guilty on Thursday to the misdemeanor charge of vehicular homicide regarding the ATV crash that killed Shawnee Mission East High School soccer star Tyler Rathbun last November.
Sheets is sentenced to probation for 18 months and must undergo substance abuse evaluation.
Her driver's license has also been suspended for six months and will have restricted license status for six months after that.
Co-defendant William Sutherland, who was also charged with aggravated endangering a child and unlawfully hosting minors consuming alcohol, has a preliminary hearing set for 10 a.m. on August 20.
