KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Turner House Children’s Clinic, Silver City Health Center, and the KU Pediatrics clinic housed at the Children’s Campus of KC are merging into one organization called Vibrant Health – Wyandotte Neighborhood Clinics.
The merger takes effect on Jan. 1, 2018.
The hope is that by merging, the new organization will get a federal designation which will mean higher reimbursement rates for Medicare.
With added income, organizers said they believe they will be able to add staff and treat more patients.
