If you are still looking for Memorial Day plans, why not visit the National World War I Museum and Memorial right here in Kansas City?
Inside the museum, you'll find incredible artifacts like the manifest from the Lusitania, the ship the Germans torpedoed and sunk during the war.
The museum also features popular exhibits for kids like Hands-on History. Admission throughout the Memorial Day weekend is free for veterans and active military members. The general public can get tickets for half price.
