Time Warner Cable reports that the issue should be resolved for all Kansas City customers. If you are still experiencing problems, they said it is most likely a weather issue and you should contact customer service.
Time Warner Cable in Kansas City says it has a city-wide outage issue.
Early Wednesday morning several viewers contacted 41 Action News about an outage with Time Warner Cable.
Viewers of 41 Action News reported outages in Lenexa and south Kansas City.
Before 7 a.m., the company could not confirm any city-wide issues. Shortly before 8 a.m. Time Warner reported they did find a city-wide outage issue.
Mike Pedelty of Time Warner Cable says they learned the problem began before 3 a.m. It effects video only, and does not impact internet or phone customers. I
nitially crews were not sure if it was a weather related issue, or a technical issue. But shortly after 8 a.m., Pedelty reported the company believes it is a hardware issue and they think they have it isolated.
Crews are working to repair the problem, and they apologize for any inconvenience, and will return service as soon as possible.
