According to the Grain Valley Police Department, there are two suspects in custody after reports of people suspiciously looking into mailboxes on the 700 block of Tisha Lane.
When police pulled over the suspects, they had a large quantity of U.S. mail believed to be stolen from several locations in Grain Valley and other places nearby.
The police investigation will also involve the United States Postal Inspectors Office.
Detectives said they will be contacting many individuals whose names appear on the recovered mail.
