The owner of Grandpa’s Cafe, Ray Kattan, says he is out $50,000 to $75,000.

“My parents work six days a week ,10 to 12 hours a day every day to try to make a living coming back from the war in Syria and it’s really, it’s tough,” said Kattan’s son, Feras Kattan.

Even though Kattan is out thousands on the cafe, which opened only three years ago, he says things could be worse.

“It happened at night and not in day time and nobody died, me or my family or my customers, that is number one most important to me than anything else and money comes and goes,” said Kattan.

Guinn is now being charged with resisting a lawful stop, property damage in the first degree, misdemeanor assault on a law enforcement officer, and a misdemeanor DWI. Prosecutors say thst when Guinn took off, he clipped the side of one of the officers.
