The Christmas spirit was in full swing at the Salvation Army as volunteers hosted the annual Christmas lunch.
About 300 volunteers prepared, served and even delivered more than 1,500 meals.
Among the volunteers was Judy Bosshard, who has spent the last 35 Christmases helping others.
She says seeing people come together and watching their faces light-up is what makes her come back year after year.
"I know this might sound strange, but I love them," Bosshard said. "I really do, and I'm so happy I can be there for them."
When Bosshard first started volunteering, she brought her kids to help out, too. Now her kids have kids of their own, and her grandkids also spend Christmas helping others.
