KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A passenger on a cross-country flight last Thursday may not have had a concert planned in Kansas City, but that didn't stop her from making a stop.
An American Airlines flight last Thursday night from Los Angeles International Airport to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York had to make an unplanned landing just after 6 p.m. at Kansas City International Airport.
It wasn't a mechanical problem or weather issue, but a passenger who kept singing Whitney Houston -- over and over and over. One passenger caught the performance and posted it on YouTube.
The woman failed to comply with orders from a Federal Air Marshall to stop singing, prompting the stop in Kansas City.
A KCI spokesman says the woman, who claimed to have a medical condition, was taken off the airplane and interviewed.
She was not allowed to reboard the plane.
