The new Oxford Dictionary includes some 'amazeballs' words

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Here is a sign of the changing times.  All those words that the kids are using these days are now officially in the Oxford Dictionary!

Here are a few that we really enjoy:

  • Adorbs, which is an adjective: Arousing great delight, cute or adorable. As in "that dog is so adorbs”.
  • Amazeballs, Also an adjective: Very impressive, enjoyble or attractive.  As in “the Now KC is amazeballs”.
  • Throw Shade: To publicly criticize someone.  As in “Did you see Nicki Minaj throw shade at Iggy Azalea during the BET awards?"
