Man accused of driving truck into Baltimore TV station charged with attempted murder

BALTIMORE - The man police say rammed a stolen truck into the WMAR-TV station Tuesday is charged with attempted second-degree murder and related charges.

Vladimir Mehul Baptiste, 27, of the 1700 block of White Oak Road is charged with three counts of attempted second-degree murder, three counts of first-degree assault, unlawfully taking a motor vehicle and related burglary and theft charges, according to online court records.

He was being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center  in lieu of $750,000 bail.
