A baby from Metro Detroit has won a nationwide contest and was named the 2016 Gerber Baby.
Isla is a seven-month-old baby from Troy. She beat out more than 170,300 entries to win the contest.
"Isla is always so happy, and we really think it showed in her winning photo," said Rachel, Isla's mom. "She's got that same smile on her face every day. Plus her hair is so cute and crazy, it just adds to her adorable personality!"
For the contest, parents from around the country submit photos of their children online. Children must be preschool age or younger.

A panel of judges then reviews photos and chooses a picture that is consistent with Gerber's heritage.
Isla's parents will receive the $50,000 grand prize, along with $1,500 in Gerber's children's wear.
Gerber says Isla will also be given the opportunity to star in a 2016 Gerber ad.
