Shoplifting suspect shot outside Chicago store on Black Friday

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Black Friday turned chaotic outside suburban Chicago department store.

Romeoville, Ill., police say they were called to the scene after two people tried to shoplift at Kohl's during the Black Friday rush.

One of the officers was injured when the suspects tried to flee by car. "The officer was dragged quite some distance."

When the car didn't stop, an officer shot at the car, hitting the driver.

All three suspects were arrested.

Two officers and the injured suspect were all taken to a hospital for treatment.
