AURORA, Colo. - The future of the Century 16 movie theater in Aurora, Colo., is uncertain.
It remained surrounded by crime scene tape Tuesday night as crews unloaded a chain link fence that will go up around the entire perimeter of the theater.
Some say the theater should be torn down and made into permanent memorial. Others say if you tear it down, the gunman wins.
"I feel like that particular theater itself should not be reopened," said Aurora resident Kandra Lujan, "because even the people that made it out alive, it's traumatic for everybody."
Aurora Police hope to release the theater to the owners by the end of the week.
Both prosecutors and defense attorneys now have access to the crime scene.
