A baby was found unresponsive at a Kansas City, Kan., daycare and was taken to a local hospital where they later died.
KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A baby found unresponsive after nap time at Advantage Child Care Center at 55th and Metropolitan in Kansas City, Kan., on Tuesday has died.
Firefighters at the station across the street raced over once daycare employees called for help and tried to revive the baby.
Police dispatch confirms the baby was transported to an area hospital. Late Tuesday night, the Wyandotte County Coroner's Office confirmed the baby, identified as an 11-month-old male, had died.
Police were seen loading a crib and three bags into a police van at the scene.
