One man is in custody after a standoff in Kansas City, Kansas, Friday morning.

KCK police said at 2:01 a.m., a woman called police saying her child’s father was in her apartment, armed with a gun and threatening to shoot everyone in the apartment.

KCK police arrived at the scene near 7th Street and Nebraska Avenue, and when they knocked on the door no one answered. Police said the lights were off and someone was looking out the window at them. At that time, officers called a standoff.
