Lawrence businesses go on lockdown after reports of gun sighting

LAWRENCE, Kan. - A lockdown in a Lawrence business park ended just before 1:30 p.m. Friday as police took a man into custody after a short search.

Police were searching for the man around the East Hills Business park.

Police reported the call came in to them around 11:30 a.m. of a man making threatening comments. Police found an empty holster in the suspects vehicle.
