LAWRENCE, Kan. - Police have identified the victim found Friday in a Lawrence home while they were searching for a missing teen.
Officers identified the body as Harold M. Sasko, 52, of Lawrence. Mr. Sasko resided at the property that was the site of the search for missing teen Sarah Brooke Gonzales McLinn, 19. Police said both Sasko and McLinn lived at the home in the 2900 block of W. 26th Street.
Investigators said Mr. Sasko owned a 2008 Nissan Altima sedan, either dark gray or blue in color, that was missing from the property and sought by them. The vehicle license number was AK149.
Police are continuing their search for Miss McLinn. According to police, family members have not seen or heard from McLinn since Tuesday.
