A vehicle crashed into an Independence QuikTrip Monday night, causing significant structural damage.
Independence police say a white Chevy Blazer crashed into the QuikTrip at 11201 East Truman Road just before 9 p.m. Monday. The store is on the southeast corner of Truman and Sterling.
Officials haven't said if they know what caused the crash, but confirmed there was no police pursuit involved.
Four people were hurt in the crash, two of which went to the hospital for their injuries.
Tuesday morning, the front glass of the QuikTrip was still missing and the store remained closed.
