Independence police are investigating a deadly crash Thursday night.
The crash occurred at about 6:47 p.m. on westbound Wilson Road at Kentucky.
Police said a westbound motorcycle struck a Ford Explorer that was turning left to northbound Kentucky.
The male rider was taken to a local hospital and later died of his injuries.
The driver of the turning vehicle was not injured.
