Lost blanket means lost comfort for Northland girl

GLADSTONE, Mo. - A Northland mom and her daughter are asking for the public's help in locating a lost blanket.

But it's not any normal blanket.

Misti Fee says she and her daughter, who has autism, were shopping Tuesday night off of 72nd Street in Gladstone when her daughter accidentally left the blanket in the shopping cart.

The blanket has provided a source of comfort for Fee's daughter since she was 6-months old, as the blanket helps her daughter sleep and not get upset.

Fee doesn't think anyone intentionally stole the blanket, but they don't know the significance it played. She's hoping whoever has the blanket can return it to the Walmart store.

The blanket is described as blue turquoise in color with a princess training patch.
