KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Parts of the Northland got a little more snow than the rest of the Kansas City metro.
Roads such as North Platte Purchase are completely snow-packed, leaving drivers frustrated.
"I'm driving like a grandma," said Ericka Hernandez. Hernandez says she hates the snow, partly because it makes her worry about crashing, and partly because it cost her a windshield.
"The window just broke last night; I don't know why. Maybe because it was warm and then the ice," she said.
Hernandez got off work at 3 a.m., and had to drive through one of the worst parts of the storm.
"All the highways are full of snow," she explained. "I really don't like it."
However, by Saturday morning, most of the main roads were pretty clear.
Still drivers had a little trouble getting out of their driveways.
"Coming out of the driveway is a little snow, but after you got on the highways, they are mostly plowed and clean," said Jim Fussell.
Sidewalks were also covered with snow, as measurements indicate the area saw around two to two and a half inches of snow.
