RICHMOND, Missouri - An inmate who escaped early Thursday morning through the roof of the Ray County Detention facility in Richmond has been caught.
Authorities say Gary L. Miller, who was being held for motor vehicle theft, removed a vent in the ceiling and cut a hole in the roof to escape about 1 a.m.
Investigators say Miller was caught around 10 a.m. somewhere in Ray County. He was taken to the jail in Henrietta where he was being questioned.
