LEAWOOD, Kan. - A new Leawood, Kan., business takes capturing memories to a whole new level.
Lifeform Studio uses cutting edge technology to make miniature figurines of its customers.
The idea was created by a husband and wife who were looking for a new business ventures.
“I presented her with ideas for years, and there were things she rightfully considered outrageous,” owner Mason Menninger said. “But this time she thought this is a good idea, I want to be part of it.”
LIfeform Studio uses 101 3-D cameras to capture the image then brings it to life with a 3-D printer.
Each figurine costs about $300.
