KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Technology experts came to Kansas City, Mo., excited about how our city is taking a technological leap forward.
Speakers from Silicon Valley came out for a tech conference Friday at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, where people working in the I.T. industry discussed the future of technology.
One of the hot topics includes how the city plans to capitalize on Google Fiber.
"The Google Fiber has helped highlight what was already going on a little bit better, and has given more visibility into what was going on in the tech scene," said Mike Gelphman of Kansas City I.T. Professionals. "It gets people thinking about what's possible because when you have unlimited bandwidth, the future's wide open."
The conference runs through Sunday. Tickets are sold out.
