It’s that time of year again.
If you’re looking for a bargain, merchants of all sorts have lined the sidewalks in Brookside for their annual summer sidewalk sale.
The area has more than 80 stores and restaurants that participate in their own ways.
Some with sales and others with discounts and giveaways.
Worlds Window is one location that has set up shop outside for the last 20 years.
The owner, Jan Buerge, said it’s already been a banner year with more people getting excited about shopping local.
"Sometimes people are just kind of on their way to work, or on their way home and it’s like, oh yeah, there’s stores and maybe I should stop in sometime. Boy, you see it, when we’re out on the sidewalk, and that then stops people in their tracks," said Buerge.
Who doesn’t love a good sale?
If you haven’t made it out there yet, it’s all happening in the Brookside Shopping District through July 9.
