Homeland Security tests Wolf Creek nuclear power plant

WOLF CREEK, Kan. - The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is testing Wolf Creek Nuclear in Kansas.

The biannual exercise tests how well residents in surrounding areas are protected

FEMA will observe how state and county agencies react and the Nuclear Reulatory Commission will also monitor the plant's performance.

The results of the exercise will be released Thursday at a public meeting.
